Hand painted markings on the bottom of the jar show that this piece is from the Quinlong (Ch'ien-lung) Emperor of the Qing Dynasty between 1736 and 1795. This is an original piece and not a more modern reproduction as special aspects of the marking show a five prongs on the "fork" and not 3 as is typical of the reproduction pieces. See less
