The Marble is original … Read more C.1910-1930s; Vintage, Asian, hand-carved and honed, claw-footed, side or occasional table with inset flush mounted marble. The Marble is original to the table. As image indicates there are 2 notches out areas on either side of base top surround, which shows, area that can be taken off, and put back in order to remove the marble, also there is a center stretcher support to the underside, as image indicates, to carry the weight of a stone interior piece. Some of these tables had marble and some had a different grain or finish of wood. We have another one, with wood, but that is NFS, from personal collection. On Offer is this one with the inset flush mounted marble center.
