A pair of Italian gilt iron mirror back three-light sconces, the mirror backs reverse painted and decoupaged with floral and … Read more A pair of Italian gilt iron mirror back three-light sconces, the mirror backs reverse painted and decoupaged with floral and leafage designs surrounding a tasseled canopy over a male and female Renaissance figure standing on a game board. (What looks like a blemish on the glass of the sconce with the male figure is simply a reflection--mirror glass is perfect.) The three candle arms have been professionally rewired and take chandelier bulbs. Both show some minor age distressing on the top arches but this only adds to the character. The mirror plates are 10” wide; the overall width at the candle arms is 17”. Being made of iron, they have substantial weight; hanging hook on the back and electrical cords make them easy to install anywhere. See less
