Up for sale is a fabulous original oil portrait painting by Philadelphia artist ALBERT B. SERWAZI. C,1949. Titled " Portrait Of My Mother". Created with oils on stretcher canvas. It has been mounted in a beautiful wooden frame with a hanging wire attached to the reverse side.

33.5" w x 2.5" d x 38.5" h / Inches

Biography:
A painter from Philadelphia, Albert Serwazi was also a designer and illustrator. He was a student at the Pennsylvania School of Fine Arts. From 1943 to 1948, he was art director for Lewis and Gilman and also was in the Philadelphia advertising department of Dupont & Co. From 1953, he was an illustrator for "Ladies Home Journal." He died in 1992.
