I paint in the traditional style of the old masters because I am drawn to the profound charisma and quiet gravity of that era. For me, creating art is a patient ritual. At the heart of my process is the careful, deliberate preparation of the painting surface. Ultimately my goal is for the person viewing my work to experience a pause, to reflect.

Satori’s paintings are collected both nationally and internationally. See less
