Edward T. Liljenwall (American, 1943-2010) attended Pasadena City College and later graduated from the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles in 1967 with a BS in industrial design. He worked as an automotive designer before joining the Hewlitt-Packard design team and was largely responsible for designing the HP-35 Pocket Calculator, the first one of its kind. Liljenwall was awarded several patents for his design work while employed with HP. See less
