The plain pilaster jambs stood on separate foot blocks, surmounted by carved roundel corner blocks. A simple stepped frieze between matching the width of in ingrounds. All beneath a simple plain shelf. Retaining all of its original components a very good example of this sort of surround typical of the late 18th to early 19th century through to the regency period.
