Offering a EXTRA-LARGE vintage Koi Goldfish porcelain floor sculpture, circa Mid 20th Century. This super large unique piece is absolutely stunning with wonderful color and gold metallic glaze details. Please see size below as this Koi is really meant to sit on the floor or perhaps a large wall niche or big credenza for support.
The Koi fish is just marvelously hand painted with not only tons of metallic gold on the fish, but also a great textural and wave pattern towards the bottom. Most likely the white areas are the caps of the water and there are a few green seaweed as well. This bottom area is very thick and textural with traditional Chinese "Famille Rose" style heavy glaze.
EXCELLENT CONDITION. This item is in remarkable condition without any flaws! Hard to find a vintage item of this size without any defects.....a rare vintage Chinese floor sculpture.
