Jackson Pollock ( 1912 - 1956 ) was an American painter and major figure in the Abstract Expressionist movement. He is well known for his unique style of " Drip Painting ". The groundbreaking images he created, and the material he worked with were both experimental, innovative & non traditional.

During his lifetime, Pollock enjoyed considerable fame and notoriety, he was a major artist of his generation. he had a volatile personality and struggled for most of his life. His marriage to artist Lee Krasner had an important influence on his career and legacy. The Museum of Modern Art New York has held 4 major retrospective exhibitions of his artworks. Pollock is considered to be one of the most important Modern artists of The 20th Century.

The out of print collector's lithograph print measures 11" W X 14 1/4" H. It is printed on heavyweight smooth finish paper stock with a satin finish. On the reverse back side are details about the artist and the artwork. It is in excellent " like new " condition with light signs of handling. It has never been framed, and is now being offered here for an excellent price. See less
