Vintage Mid-Century Cast Iron Wall Sculpture - Persephone with Parrot
Queen of the Underworld
What a wonderful Mid-Century Art Deco sculpture of Persephone, Queen of the Underworld. This is made from cast iron and painted with a matte black finish. The sculpture was cleaned prior to photographing so residual moisture can be seen. This wall sculpture is very heavy and will need to be prompt up against a wall or another support used to properly display. This sculpture would look wonderful in a garden, dinner or boutique. Your imagination is your limit.
Condition: There is a large break (missing piece) in the leg, otherwise minimal paint wear, such as flaking, spotting, and slight surface rust can be seen. Large break could be concealed with plants or other decorations. Too great of a piece to discard or scrap.
