The offset lithograph print is a page from a large art calendar published by Te Nueues Publishing Company, printed in Germany in 1999. The Expressionist print features an original artwork created by Wassily Kandinsky in 1908 - 09 titled " Blue Mountain ", courtesy of the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum, New York.

Wassily Kandinsky ( 1866 - 1944 ) was a Russian born Abstract Modernist painter and art theorist. He is considered to be one of the most important Abstract artists of all time. he was an educator at the famous Bauhaus School, and is credited with theories relating to his original color compositions and concepts of spiritual life and humanity in his artworks.

The rare out of print offset lithograph calendar print measures 12 1/4" W X 14" H, with an image area of 10 1/4" W X 11 3/4" H. It is in excellent " like new " vintage condition with light signs of handling. It has never been framed. There is a different artwork on the reverse back side of another artist. It is now being offered here for an excellent price. See less
