Beautiful Tramp Art chest / Jewellery box on claw-feet marked 1895 and decorated with brass characters and a Coat of Arms, probably from Bavaria Germany. This chest was probably made as a keepsake for a veteran soldier in 1895 and bears his initials on the top . The inside is lined with green fabric. The chest is finished on all sides with beautiful craftsmanship. Very nice antique piece.
Given its age, the velvet on the outside is
brownish -faded.
The hinge is in good order.
A piece is missing on the back.
