We acquired this set of seven (7) hand blown modernist Murano pulegoso cordial glasses plus a hand blown/shaped stir stick that date to the mid 20th century. They were all handmade on the island of Murano in Venice, Italy. Definitely not a cookie cutter look alike set of drinkware! Please check out our other listings of Murano pulegoso glasses from the same set.
Pulegoso is a type of glass characterized by countless irregular air bubbles (pulighe) within the vitreous wall which deliberately obscure its transparency with a "frothy" effect. Very desirable and rare. Dimensions: 2 5/8" H, 1.5" D (top), 1.75" D (bottom); stir stick apprx. 10".
We combine shipping whenever feasible.
