Abstract Garden Splendor by New York and California artist Ross Martin Fink (American, B-1935).

"What has come to interest me most over the past ten to fifteen years has been creating nonrepresentational constructions on canvas. These series allow me to combine my many years of painting with my enjoyment of working with found objects."

His works are three-dimensional to one degree or another. The works are constructed on canvas or with water color paper, string, thread, sand, coffee grounds, tissue, netting etc.
Ross M Fink is a lifelong artist, born in Bayonne, NJ, in 1935. He has lived and seen it all. His artistic skill was recognized at a young age, but with unstable home life, he took to the streets and even the rails. He eventually found his "home" in San Francisco and ran with many of the new famous Beatnik and counter-culture 70's crowd.

The one thread that runs through his life is his dedication to the artistic process. Making art, playing music, and writing poems, Ross is an artist, philosopher, musician, and love of life. See less
