These are hand painted Italian platters from renowned ceramic artist Giancomini. This was hand painted by Sandra (signed Di pinto a Mana Da Sandra) on the reverse side. The black colored background evokes a sophisticated and modern twist to traditional Italian pottery design.
This was purchased from a Santa Fe gallery @ several thousand dollars.. It is a surprisingly versatile piece that works with traditional, modern or eclectic styles.
