Dynamic and expressive Figurative, abstract expressionist composition by California artist "Aska" (20th Century). Colors swirl together in a controlled but chaotic manner. Patches of black are used to create high contrast areas, allowing the colors to stand out. While the subject matter appears to be non-objective, there are some repeated shapes - circular, almond-shaped, and angular forms and a face emerges.
Signed and dated "ASKA '10" in the lower right corner.
