Bright and dynamic abstract by San Francisco abstract expressionist William Aldridge (20th Century). Layers of acrylic paint have been applied to a smooth surface, creating a transparent effect in some areas. The artist has scratched and scraped the paint, created textured lines in the composition. A layer of glaze has been applied over the top, creating so me craquelure and texture.
Signed "W. Aldridge" in the lower right corner.
Artist's name and title on verso.
Presented in a wood frame with a grey background mat and and green accent mat.
