These Kiwi Green "Kite" Chairs were designed by Karim Rashid for Label in the Netherlands in 2004. Made of high-quality plastic, they feature an ergonomic design that ensures maximum comfort, making them ideal for indoor and outdoor use. The chairs come with a drain system that prevents water collection. They're not just good-looking but also practical, as they can withstand outdoor elements without deteriorating. The chairs are made of rotationally molded polyethylene and have integrated armrests, while the seat has a hole for drainage. These items are in excellent condition with only slight indications of use. Karim Rashid, the Designer of these chairs, was born in Cairo, Egypt, in 1960. He graduated from Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada, with a Bachelor's in Industrial Design in 1982. Rashid has designed over 3000 pieces, including luxury goods, mass-produced items, furniture, lighting, interiors, high-tech gadgets, packaging, and brand identities. He has collaborated with renowned clients such as Issey Miyake, Tommy Hilfiger, Sony, and Citibank. In addition to his design work, Rashid has taught design at various institutions and has received numerous awards, including Designer of the Year from the Brooklyn Museum of Art in 1998.
