produced in the 1960s by palshus (denmark), founded by per and his wife annelise linnemann-schmidt. The impressed patterns on two of them and the characteristic shape for a vase are both trademarks of the creators.

the couple created and produced chamotte (danish clay) objects, often with impressed decorations (tableware, vases, and lamps). Colors were characteristic scandinavian earthy tones: blues, browns, greens and beige.

many other talented ceramic artists also worked for palshus including jens h. Quistgaard and esben klint.

the vases are signed under the base : palshus and apls / pls for annelise per linnemann-schmidt, model 201. This piece has an attribution mark,
