This elegant all wood side table is designed with inlaid matchbox outlined on the tables top surface with a subtle banding of sandalwood that surrounds the horizontal surface providing a beautiful visual of contrast in tones as well as by the perfect framing. There is a lower shelf for storage. It's crafted in the Chippendale style and reproduces the original table style that has had many historied roles and uses for many centuries. For example a Kettle Stand, a games table, a display table for plants or flowers, or often a landing spot for statues or lamps and candles. In each and every role this diminutive table has always found its purpose and often the final elegant touch for many sophisticated homes.

Please Note: the pull out tray seems to be used for decorative and ceremonial effect than it does as a reliable sturdy horizontal platform for serious use for beverages etc.
