An antique French ewer with a hand painted glass Vase and painted metal mounts. The vase has a green, pink, and yellow floral motif with gold tone metal mounts. The ewer stands 18" tall and is 5" at its widest point. The age is estimated to be late 19th / early 20th century.
Very good antique condition with wear commensurate with age and use. There is loss to the paint on three of the four feet. The glass vase has a swirl-like scratch towards the back (see photo). Near the top of the glass vase at the front there is one small chip along with faint surface scratches. None of the above really detracts from the beauty of this object in our opinion.
