20322 Vintage Green Beni MGuild Moroccan Rug, 06’01 x 10’09.
Boho Chic meets Biophilic Design in this hand knotted wool vintage green Beni MGuild Moroccan rug. The Berber Tribe symbolism and bold color scheme woven into this piece work together capturing the essence of Bohemian style with a tribal vibe. The composition features an asymmetrical diamond lattice richly patterned with triangles, hourglass shapes, diamonds, squares, Solomon star motifs and ambiguous tribal symbols.
This vintage Moroccan Beni MGuild rug displays many traditional symbols of femininity, protection and conception. While esoteric symbolic representation displays some of the same aesthetic tendencies previously celebrated by modern artists, this genuine vintage Moroccan rug is indeed rich in ancient Berber Tribe culture. Seldomly used in festivals or family celebrations, authentic green Moroccan rugs like this one are in great demand because of their rarity which has become a dying art form.
