The three medallions are woven together in a rich sapphire field complemented by bright colors and intricate detailing. The rarity of this piece lies in careful detailing of each medallion in a mandala design, combined with the marriage of vibrant coloring and patterns in the border. The accents feature a floral motif of three different flowers; peonies at medallion center, separated by an inner key pattern border, surrounded by lotuses and vines in a salmon ground alternated by chrysanthemums and leaves in a yellow ground in the outer border.
