Christopher Willett, an impressionist oil on masonite depicting Jacqueline Kennedy’s funeral procession in New York City with crowded streets and flags flying. Signed lower left and signed and inscribed on the reverse. Image size is 11” x 14” and housed in a gold frame, 17” x 21”.
Christopher Willett (New Hope, PA b. 1959), a Bucks County artist, studied at Hartnell College in California and the Philadelphia Academy of the Fine Arts. He has an impressive auction record and is one of the most collected local contemporary impressionists today.
