The bronze body is made very fine. The crystal insert is surrounded by bronze garlands and floral decorations. The bronze lid is attached to the body with a hinge. The lid opens and closes smoothly, it closes level. When the lid is opened we find a mirror at the inside of the lid.On the lid we find a hand painted miniature portrait of a beautiful young woman. It is beautifully detailed . The portrait is signed by Derval, which is Jean Derval , a famous painter of miniature portraits on porcelain from the 19th century.

We have put chocolates in the box for the pictures. The chocolates are NOT included.
The measurements are about:
CM: 6 cm high x 9.5 cm diameter
INCH: 3.5 inch high x 3.7 inch diameter

The box is in good condition, it has some marks of aging and use. The bronze has no restorations and the crystal insert is fully intact. No damages. See less
