Made circa 1919 modelled by carl klimt (born 1876 in teplitz - died 1945 in zinnwald / bohemia) hallmarked: manufactured by bernhard bloch / eichwald (bohemia / model number 6306 / 10 / 45) black stamp mark = made in czechoslovakia / d 119 material is ceramics (glossy finish / painted).
subject: most lovely naked cherub figurine stands in centre of a large centrepiece consisting of a round platter with hoisted wall. The cherub being situated on a heightened round base squeezes a large bundle of flowers' blossoms with leaves / additionally, behind the figurine there are flowers with leaves visible, too. The centrepiece is based on a footring.
total height: 41.5 cm ( = circa 16.6 inches ) diameter: 35.0 cm ( = circa 14.0 inches ) this piece has an attribution mark,
