The top has a marbled effect in the sturdy hard plastic-like material for added detail. The box overall is a tortoise shell brown translucent color. The inside lid has a rectangular mirror and an oval mirror. The attached tray on left side has 2 compartments to keep smaller items. Inside box bottom is lined in red felt. Bottom of box states "made in Hong Kong". Excellent unused condition, no mirror tarnish, no gouges, cracks, etc. Bottom exterior of box may show slight discoloration in spots which may have been part of the manufacturing process. Stored in a cool dry place. Comes from a smoke-free/pet-free home.

NOTE: WHEN BOX IS OPENED, THE TOP GOES ALL THE WAY BACK, DOES NOT STAY AT A 90 DEGREE ANGLE LIKE SOME BOXES DO.
