A beautiful blue /orange, watercolor by Tranerman circa the 1980s in excellent condition and beautifully accomplished. Cubist brushwork is constructed with thin color planes that build the image. Skilled eye-controlled palette. Impressive results in a tight range, cabbage roses with lemon on table scene. Signed to the lower right TRANERMAN. No dates are apparent. Beautifully painted by a skilled artist, though there are limited records for the artist at this date. The image is 8.5" by 10.5" and the frame is 13" by 14.5" under glass.
