It lays beautifully with the design being integral to this function. The sweeping shape of the links beautifully grace the neck. The piece is stamped “Jules Brenner” and “Sterling”. It weighs 37.9 grammes.
Jules Brenner (1917-1991), was a native of New York City, began his career as a painter and sculptor, but later, turned to jewellery-making as his main focus. Beginning in 1953, he had a store in Greenwich Village for which he created modernist pieces, mostly in silver. His pieces embody clean line and biomorphic forms.
