This is part of Chairish’s Fine Jewelry assortment.
A delicate handmade necklace from the Victorian-era, circa 1890, featuring well-sculpted fleur-de-lis. The chain is made from 14k gold wire, which was hand-twisted into elongated oval links, and then twisted again, halfway, reminiscent of a Mobius strip. Suspended from the chain are three fleur-de-lis in descending size, with the largest in the centre of the necklace. Each fleur-de-lis hangs from a wire-twisted round link.
This graceful, feminine necklace is 15 1/2 inches long. The largest fleur-de-lis is 3/4 inch, and drops down one inch from the necklace. It weighs 6.75 grammes. A spring ring has been recently added for a more secure closure.
