The vases feature a hunting scene … Read more Here is a matching pair of table lamps that are made from Asian/Chinese vases. The vases feature a hunting scene with two men on horses surrounded by their hunting dogs! In the background you can see beautiful trees, flowers and European homes. The scenes are the same on the front and back and I love how they "face" each other - so they're alike but not identical. Around the hunting scenes are bright gold painted details and a deep navy blue background. The vases are mounted to carved wood, Asian stands with gold metal toppers. Unfortunately one of the bases has a small bit of damage - however it's to the back, so you can spin the lamp around so it doesn't show. Also worth noting is that the bases are not exactly the same, there is a slight variation in design and color, but height and general style are similar. Just such an amazing set of highly collectable pieces!
