Offered is a 1970s Ceramic Stoneware Sake set, made by The Otagiri Company in Japan. The base is a speckled grey-beige, and the hand-painted glaze design is an abstract floral motif in brown, indigo blue, and cream.
The set includes 5 mini cups, 1 decanter bottle, 1 pitcher with lid - most likely to serve hot sake - as well as a plate and a bowl, to serve as chargers for the decanter and pitcher, or to serve aperitif snacks.
