The top of the secretary is decorated with a … Read more 19th century French Ladies writing desk/secretary “Bonheur Du Jour” with inlay. The top of the secretary is decorated with a bronze gallery. Three quarter gallery top above a slant front with satin wood inlay of flowering vines opening to reveal three short drawers with a wood writing surface with sliding lid opening to a storage compartment all above a shaped apron and four cabriole legs ending with bronze ormolu sabots. All constructed with elegant scrolls trough entire structure, fine bronze ormolu mounts. See less
