Crafted … Read more Vintage Home is pleased to present this stunning Burl Wood and Hand Carved Gilt Wood Large Scale Wall Mirror. Crafted in Italy, this Empire Regency mirror was sold in the United States by Davis Cabinet Company out of Nashville, TN. Davis was formed in 1929 but didn’t start importing until the 1940s. Based on the Davis tag on the back, this is from the 1950s. The mirror has a wide Burl Wood veneer frame that has been enhanced with carved wood Empire Regency embellishments painted in a gold gilt. The top features a flaming Calderon.
