If anyone wanted to know what “less is more” looks like, this stunning decanter would be a phenomenal example. Jie-Keramik was founded during World War II near Helsingborg. They produced a variety of crystal, art glass, porcelain, stoneware, and ceramics until the company was bought out near the end of the 20th Century. That this decanter was never used should tell you how prized their products actually were and are. You’ll own a bit of Swedish design history when you buy this simple and beautiful decanter. (And in a pinch, you could probably put a dozen roses in it and use it as a flower vase.)
