This " Ansel Adams Images 1923 - 1974 " rare first edition vintage 1974 monumental oversized slipcase hardcover collector's book is an incredibly special and unique, iconic volume to add to your library collection. published by The New York Graphic Society Ltd. Boston Massachusetts, printed in The United States in 1974, with a foreword by Wallace Stegner.
The extra large format hardcover book with dust jacket, cloth bound cover boards and silver tone foil embossed cover titles is enclosed in a slipcase cardboard protective box. The rare out of print book features 115 extended range photolithographic reproduction images of the great American photographer and environmentalist Ansel Adams ( 1902 - 1984 ).
These are the finest images of one of the greatest artists of the 20th Century. presented in the best possible printed reproductions. The extraordinary presence that characterizes every Adams photograph emerges from these pages visually.
The monumental collector's vintage book measures 17 1/2" W X 14 1/4" H X 1" D, with 127 pages. The book is in excellent vintage condition consistent with age and light signs of handling. There is visible wear from handling & use to the slipcase cardboard box cover, and very minor faint tonight to the book page edges. it is now being offered here for an excellent price.
