This listing is for a gorgeous Japanese woodblock print from the late Edo Period (1603-1868).
This piece is by famed artist, Utagawa Kunisada 歌川国貞 (1786-1865) and was printed sometime during the 1850s.
This print depicts the actor Onoe Kikugoro III in the role of Mashiba Hisayoshi. This comes from the play "Kinmon Gosan no Kiri."
This print is in great shape and the colors are still vibrant.
