We are selling this gorgeous late 19th Century Italian Grand Tour marble carving of the "Venus Italica". This beautiful piece is carved from a nearly flawless piece of white marble and very well carved as shown by the hands, hair and draped clothing. This "Venus Italica" is after the carving of the same name by the famed sculptor Antonio Canova.
Condition: Some small damages. Missing the big toe on the left foot and a small chip to the base. Flaw in marble that runs down the figures back. Hairline across the right ankle but still stable.
