The chair used in this piece is a one-off antique. The price of the artwork may vary depending on the price of the chair. “flower patches" is a series derived from the idea of a cross-stitch, or embroidery. Mosaic bouquet — created with marble and flamboyant colors from venetian glass — are applied to carefully selected antique furniture. The mosaics are perfectly integrated with some peculiar features from the antique furniture, while at the same time transform them into something special and cheerful. An ancient wooden stool, with the typical shape of those from the mountain areas. On the seat there’s a ”stone fabric” mosaic, made with marbles capable of creating a smooth surface, similar to that of a fabric. In the centre, a patches made out of a bouquet of roses recalls the idea of a pillow, resting on the stool that’s inspiring it. See less
