Separè, is a multi-use space divider, centered around a vertical metal frame kept upright via cylindrical anchor weight at its base. The light handcrafted membrane frame and the heavy cylinder contrast each other in form, creating a vivid relationship in function. A frame coated with a semi-transparent natural fabric creates light and flexible division of spaces while open frame option with horizontal divisions allows for a multi-use rack. Mingardo ilario founded mingardo blacksmith workshop in 1970, after over twenty years’ experience in the metal processing field. The production was initially focused on simple blacksmith works for the construction industry. Over the time, it has become more refined, enabling the company to collaborate with internationally renowned companies and architects: from the first collaborations with architect carlo scarpa to the more recent commissions for museo del novecento in milan, parco della musica in florence, and teatro petruzzelli in bari. Over the years, the workshop has achieved great results, with the production of unique metal products, all hand-wrought by a highly skilled team of specialized artisans.
