This is part of Chairish’s Costume Jewelry assortment.
Hard to find circa 1960s goldtone marquise faux-onyx lily pad brooch with security clasp. Marked "Avon" in script with inventory number "2328." Measures: 1 5/8 inches long by 1 7/9 inches wide. Excellent condition. Avon of Belleville is a Canadian company (not to be mistaken for Avon Cosmetics) which was founded by Abe Mazer of Mazer brothers with many pieces being designed by Marcel Boucher and marked with inventory numbers.
