This listing is for a rare Pre-Columbian female pottery figure.
The figure dates from 300 BCE- 300 CE and comes from Colima (western Mexico).
The figure depicts a nude female figure strapped to a litter.
Remnants of its original red and black painted exterior can be seen throughout.
It measures approximately 4.9" L x 2.7" W x 1.8" H inches
Provenance: ex-Nancy and Dr. E.F. Simpson collection, Los Angeles, California, USA, acquired from 1970 to 2000
