The chest has two short drawers, a … Read more An English 19th-century campaign chest in two parts with removable feet in teak. The chest has two short drawers, a deep second draw below, and two long drawers to the bottom half. Each of the two sections has a pair of heavy iron handles on either end which would have aided transportation of the chest. All five drawers have brass handles and brass straps to each corner, coupled with ebony escutcheons to each drawer. Raised on bun feet with a paneled back. English, circa 1870. See less
