This pair of stunning vintage clip on earrings are by the jewelry artist Andrew Springarn. It is done in the manner of the house of Gripoix. They are poured red glass, modernist in form and sculptural in design. The earrings are one of a kind and they are gold plated. He is no longer working in jewelry. His work was sold in Bergdorf Goodman at one time. They are more red in person rather than the burgundy color on the photos. Sorry the photographs did not convey that. When light hits them they become a lighter red. They are gorgeous on the ear lobe and ring richness. They are versatile and can go day to night and for any season or occasion. They are from the 80's and are a studio piece. The dimensions are 2" H / L x 1.25" W. These are very special and year round earrings.
