This exceptional and very rare hallmarked Chanel early vintage long necklace is gripoix glass, faux pearl and gold chain link rope. It is a long strand or double layer necklace. The double chain links are two rows of in between the glass and faux pearl. Interspersed are clear glass round gripoix glass. It is extremely long and will wrap on your neck two or three times depending on the way you wish to wear it. This is elegance of a high level and will be forever timeless and collectable. It has weight to it. The colors of the glass are purple, pink and amber when the light hits it. These exact beautiful colors does not exactly show up in the photographs. It is 35.5 inches long without any doubling or tripling. It is 1/2 Inch wide and the square glass is less than an 1/2 inch. This can go day to evening and it rings pure class, elegance and very high style as Chanel intended this to be. It is hallmarked Chanel 1989 Chanel CC 1989 and the back of the tag says Made In France. This is beyond a piece de resistance of a superb Chanel necklace and again is very rare and very special indeed! Sorry, the photos do not do justice to the beauty of this Chanel necklace. It is amazingly versatile on. This does have some weight to it on your chest. This is a must acquisition for any Chanel lover or collector! This is not on the market anywhere.
