Vintage Gucci style Chinese porcelain ginger jar with flowing tassels, circa Mid 20th Century. This ginger jar has a traditional Chinese "Famille Rose" heavily textured glaze on the tassels done in burgundy, peach, white and dark green.....very reminiscent of Gucci style scarves. The background color is a smooth surface with a gray-turquoise color with a faux "marble" splatter motif. The combination of the heavily textured tassels and the smooth background creates an interesting juxtaposition of surfaces.
EXCELLENT CONDITION......a small professional repair under the lid, see last photo.
