I … Read more This is a wonderful pair of bronze and blond-wood bookends of a leaning Asian man wearing a Conical hat. I believe that this pair are from the 1950s / Mid Century - furthermore, the style is similar to that of Karl Hagenaur who was an influential Art Deco era designer. The bookends have a paper label underneath which appears to read KVLD. Do let me know if you think the label reads something different. One of the Asian men is also titling slightly to the left (or right depending upon what angle you are looking at the bookends), however this does not compromise their strength to hold a collection of books. All in all these are a fabulous and rare pair of bookends that will highlight any book collection wonderfully.

They each measure: 5" (W) x 3 1/2" (D) x 6 1/4" (H). They EACH weigh approx 15oz.
