60603 Vintage Industrial Gray Turkish Rug, 08’01 x 11’07.
Relaxed refinement meets luxe utilitarian appeal in this hand knotted vintage Turkish overdyed rug. The faded botanical design and analogous color scheme work together resulting in a modern look with a cozy and convivial feel. The barely-there inconspicuous pattern composed of blooming palmettes, lotus blossoms, stylized florals and enigmatic formations that seem to evanesce before one's eyes into the atmospheric composition. Equally concealed spandrels radiate from the corners without taking away from the overall design. It is framed with an abstract border patterned with swirling scribbles inspired by Cy Twombly. Reflecting abstract expressionism with esoteric design elements, this distressed overdyed rug goes beyond the boundaries of design with its historical richness and laid-back luxury. Dare to be different.
Rendered in variegated shades of gray, baby blue, purple and taupe with other analogous colors.
