Clark Murray Rare 1980's Original Painting, Abstract In Tones Of Red & Purple
One of a few rare paintings by American sculpture Clark Murray (1937-2022). He's best known for his outdoor construction of a welded and painted steel pipes sculpture. His work is found in the Museum of Fine Arts in Houston Texas, and the Menil Collection in the same city.
We were able to obtain 3 from the dealer who dealt with the artist's estate. We are offering two for sale and keeping the third in our private collection.
This painting was executed in 1980's. And it was left unsigned by the artist.
