Jean Lurçat's white porcelain bottle, made by Haviland Limoges in the 1960s, embodies the elegance and creativity of this renowned artist. With its decoration evoking the sun, this liqueur bottle not only captures the light, it offers a tribute to the most beautiful star in the universe. Jean Lurçat, painter and ceramist, shared the benches of the Académie de Colarossi with masters such as Paul Cézanne and Pierre Auguste Renoir. His artistic journey has led him to exhibit his works in Paris, the United States, as well as London and Berlin, affirming his place in the art world. In 1964, he was elected a member of the Academy of Fine Arts, testifying to the lasting impact of his rich and diverse work, which extends from ceramics to stained glass and tapestry.
